The lyrics and melody of the song were written during the journey from the early morning on-line prayer meetings to the evangelistic outreach led by Tyrelle Smith of Gospel Fire for All Nations. Many people beyond Tyrelle said yes to Jesus to make this praise offering, gospel preaching, kingdom love and power demonstrating gathering in Saskatchewan a reality. Most importantly, many, many, many people received Jesus as their Lord and Saviour and were baptized and made new and clean in their conscience before God our Father and adopted into His family! Glory to God!!! Many people were physically healed by Jesus, many people experienced emotional healing of their heart by Jesus and some were delivered from demonic oppression. Glory to God!!! The first verse of the song and chorus took inspiration from Ephesians 3:20-21 for me during an on-line prayer meeting which began months before the event. By the time Kurt Janzen and I were in Saskatoon at Sasktel Centre staying in my home away from home, I was writing the second verse which talks about being born again and filled with the Spirit. The third verse focuses on the incredible love of our Father in heaven that fills us as family. (And surprise another song was written at that time based on the Lord's Prayer "Yours the Glory Forever" coming soon April 21). One night I began to hear the main violin part in my spirit as I couldn't sleep and was captured up in the glorious Presence of God's Spirit. The chorus is a prayer from apostle Paul, for God to be glorified in His church by all generations, forever. We saw this happening in Sasktel Center, in Saskatoon on June 2-4 at the Come Together event. It was particularly moving to see the children and the youth together with the older generations praise Jesus and respond to the invitation to receive Jesus as their Lord and Saviour! This event, which was the culmination of many prayer gatherings, praise and worship gatherings, evangelism and ministry trainings resulted in so many people receiving Jesus as their Saviour and being adopted into God's family. It was glorious in every way! We felt like family. It was like the very atmosphere above Saskatoon was full of the glory and presence of God, fulfilling I believe a prophetic vision and word God gave my friend Marc Pranger in 2000 flying into Saskatoon. That vision highlights a key for God to pour out His Spirit on a city or region being the unity of believers in Jesus, which also parallels the theme of a song I was led to write in that same year called "New Day Dawning". As we prepare for what our Father has asked of us this year, Tyrelle Smith and the team God is putting together is preparing for another outreach and gathering at Mosaic Stadium June 7 & 8, 2024 in Regina Saskatchewan. My prayer is that this song would inspire you to pray for people you love, to be drawn to Jesus by God's Spirit. He is going to do more than we could ask, think or imagine as we pray! FireRunner Music.This song was written during Soar Saskatchewan a 10 day missions and ministry training community started by Lloyd and Carol Letkeman with Multiply an international holistic church planting organization. I remember distinctly getting ready to lead worship early one morning for our devotional time and I began to weep as I heard the cries of inner city youth and children rising up to God. Out of all this pain, and hopelessness from the inner city, this song was what Jesus gave me as He shared His heart and desire to bring hope into one of the darkest places the inner city. After writing this song, I realized that this song is not only for inner city youth and children but it is for all of us as humans as we all go through painful things in life and God desires to bring us into His hope through the healing and comfort of His love given to us through His Son Jesus. I pray this song brings you hope and the filling of the Holy Spirit through turning your life over to Jesus to lead.
